Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of para-planning work produced by paraplanners and outsourced para planners.
  • Liaise with outsourcing firms and arrange work to be completed.
  • Act as a point of contact for queries related to para-planning work.
  • Attend leadership team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare new and existing client cashflows for cashflow meetings and annual strategy meetings.
  • Receive and implement instructions from meeting notes and tasks from financial planners.
  • Interpret data and establish recommendations with planners via debriefings.
  • Analyse data and provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Contact third parties and providers to gather information.
  • Generate and save research in a structured format.
  • Write suitability letters and financial planning reports.
  • Provide appendices, illustrations, applications, and key features documentation.
  • Implement agreed actions from authority to proceed notifications.
  • Monitor negative cash positions and recommend solutions.
  • Complete annual ISA reporting.
  • Participate in investment committee meetings.
  • Analyse and provide client portfolio reporting.
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and maintain continuous professional development.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate would have GCSEs in Mathematics and English and hold the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills and excellent telephone manner are essential.
  • Continuing professional development is required to develop skills and knowledge.
