About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Manager to join our team at Churchill Executive. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of para-planning work produced by paraplanners and outsourced firms.
  • Liaise with outsourcing firms to arrange work completion and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for queries related to para-planning work.
  • Attend leadership team meetings to discuss key issues and strategies.
  • Prepare and present client cashflows for meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Receive and implement instructions from financial planners following client meetings.
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Conduct research and gather information from third parties and providers.
  • Generate and maintain accurate research records in a structured format.
  • Write suitability letters and financial planning reports that meet client objectives.
  • Provide supporting documentation and appendices for reports.
  • Implement agreed actions from authority to proceed notifications.
  • Monitor client cash positions and recommend solutions.
  • Complete annual ISA reporting and participate in investment committee meetings.
  • Provide client portfolio reporting and maintain compliance with procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation and product changes through continuous professional development.
  • Work efficiently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Construct spreadsheets and comparison calculations.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate would have GCSEs in Mathematics and English and hold the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills and excellent telephone manner are essential.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is required to develop skills and knowledge.
