Senior Technical Manager & Paraplanner (STM&P)

Churchill Executive is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager & Paraplanner to join our team. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical expertise and paraplanning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of paraplanning work produced by paraplanners and outsourced providers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for paraplanning queries and provide expert guidance and support.
  • Receive and implement instructions from financial planners following client meetings, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Analyse data obtained by planners during client meetings and collaborate with planners to establish recommendations that meet client objectives.
  • Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs and objectives, utilising research tools and expertise.
  • Compose suitability letters and financial planning reports that are accurate, personalised, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Provide all necessary appendices, illustrations, applications, and key features documentation to support suitability letters and reports.
  • Implement agreed actions from authority to proceed notifications, including fee collection, investment allocation, and trade execution.
  • Ensure annual ISA reporting is completed for all eligible clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in investment committee meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and product changes through continuous professional development.
  • Adhere to the 6-step financial planning process, ensuring comprehensive and client-centric solutions.
Requirements
  • GCSEs in Mathematics and English (A-C/1-3) and a Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills and a strong telephone manner are essential.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is expected to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
