About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals over 18 years old. As a Community Mentor, your primary responsibility will be to support staff in delivering impactful projects that address diverse needs.

We offer an exceptional training programme to prepare you for this role, covering essential topics such as safeguarding vulnerable adults, children, mental health awareness, substance misuse, and more.

The Communities and Education Division at Seetec Business Technology Centre is committed to delivering tailored support to participants across various contracts. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future, regardless of their past choices or challenges they face.

We combine our knowledge, skills, and talents across the justice and social care sectors to deliver services and interventions that overcome barriers to living fulfilled lives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be empathetic, and demonstrate positive behaviour. You will also need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We welcome applications from ex-offenders and adhere to equal opportunities policies.
