Job Role

As a Volunteer Mentor with Seetec Business Technology Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in the South East region. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to participants, helping them achieve their goals and overcome challenges. This rewarding role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to inspire and empower others.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing practical and emotional support to participants
  • Encouraging engagement with appointments and activities
  • Supporting participants in accessing resources and services
  • Reporting any issues related to participant behavior
  • Engaging in regular supervision sessions with the Volunteer Coordinator
  • Completing feedback notes after each support session
Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and empathize with others
  • Capacity to understand and follow necessary guidance and protocols
  • Knowledge of basic IT skills and ability to use technology effectively
