About the Role

We are seeking a graduate with strong academics to join our team of teaching staff and SENCO leaders at a brilliant Secondary School located in the Borough of Hillingdon.

The role of Secondary Mentor involves supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs, improving their academic, personal, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Helping out in the classroom
  • Assisting class teachers with maintaining a productive and positive learning environment
  • Monitoring the academic progress of individual students

Requirements

  • A graduate with strong academics (2:1 or 1st Class)
  • A passionate individual that is motivated to improve the lives of young people
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Previous employment or volunteering with a school

Working Arrangements

  • £105 - £100 per day
  • Monday - Friday only
  • Term-Time only
  • Long-Term, Full-Time
