Paediatric Community Physiotherapist Role

As a specialist physiotherapist for children, you will be responsible for delivering and developing high-quality physiotherapy services in Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. You will work autonomously to manage a caseload of patients with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and rheumatological conditions, and provide expert clinical advice to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with complex presentations, including those with English as an additional language.
- Work collaboratively with children, young people, and their families to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide education and supervision to less experienced physiotherapists, and support the development of the physiotherapy service.
- Represent the department at meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate qualification in physiotherapy.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
