Area Sales and Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing local marketing plans to increase participation in our leisure facilities across the Arun district.
As a sales and marketing professional, you will work closely with our site teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that engage our customers and drive results. You will be responsible for consistently achieving sales targets, identifying customer target markets, and developing strategies to reach them. Your experience in senior sales and marketing roles, staff management, and IT skills will be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement local marketing plans to drive sales growth and increase participation in our leisure facilities
- Work closely with site teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns
- Identify customer target markets and develop strategies to reach them
- Consistently achieve sales targets and measure the success of campaigns
- Manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in senior sales and marketing roles
- Staff management experience
- IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
- Team-oriented approach, able to work across organization boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
- Mobility to travel across sites
- Outgoing personality with a 'can-do' attitude
- Flexible and adaptable
- Target-driven person
- Experience in a leisure environment
- Ability to analyze problems, situations, and information, think laterally, and present creative solutions
