About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As the Area Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing local marketing plans to drive participation and sales across our leisure facilities in the Arun district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement local marketing plans to drive participation and sales across our leisure facilities
  • Work closely with site teams to bring together engaging customer content, timely campaigns, and results
  • Measure the success of campaigns and ultimately the volume of new enquiries generated
  • Identify customer target markets and develop effective marketing strategies to reach them
  • Implement and successfully deliver marketing plans across multiple products and services
  • Hands-on experience of promoting products and services across digital and social channels
Requirements
  • Experience of managing a varied workload
  • Working in a Senior Sales and Marketing role
  • Staff management experience
  • The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately
  • An ability to feed into and translate into action the marketing strategy and objectives
  • IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
  • Team-oriented approach, able to work across organization boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
  • Mobility to travel across sites
  • Outgoing personality with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • A target-driven person
