Job Title: Sales Director
MBR Partners is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to join our team and drive sales growth in the UK and European telecoms industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling solutions to senior executives in the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets in the UK and European telecoms market.
- Develop Key Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the telecoms industry.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth.
- Product and Service Strategies: Develop and execute product and service strategies to drive sales growth.
- Relationship Building: Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders and executives.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts and close agreements with key clients.
- Communication and Forecasting: Clearly communicate sales progress to internal and external stakeholders and forecast key account metrics.
Requirements:
- Telecoms Experience: Proven account management, channel management, or other sales experience in the UK telecoms industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK telecoms regulatory trends such as fixed voice and broadband switching.
- Trusted Communications: Familiarity with trusted communications trends such as STIR/SHAKEN and RCS.
- Number Portability: Familiarity with mobile and fixed number portability and numbering management.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Industry Relationships: Demonstrated experience and relationships within the UK telecommunications industry.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 10+ years' experience selling solutions to Telecom Senior Executive, marketing, planning and operations groups.
- Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly, results driven, team player with strong sense of responsibility, ability to work with a minimum level of supervision, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong English language skills (verbal and written); multi-lingual is a plus.
