Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Coordinator to join our Community Lives team at Optalis. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our service, ensuring the smooth delivery of care and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily structure of the centre in the absence of managers, ensuring a seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and support a line team of staff, including conducting regular supervisions and appraisals.
- Monitor the quality of activities delivered to customers, ensuring highlighted outcomes are met and person-centred approaches are paramount.
- Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the management of the building and its maintenance, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
- Drive service vehicles safely, transporting customers within the community.
- Support the management of medication and related tasks, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure good practice and team working.
- Ensure Optalis policies and procedures are adhered to and shared with the team.
