Job Title: Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Coordinator to join our Community Lives team at Optalis. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our service, ensuring the smooth delivery of care and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the daily structure of the centre in the absence of managers, ensuring a seamless service delivery.
  2. Supervise and support a line team of staff, including conducting regular supervisions and appraisals.
  3. Monitor the quality of activities delivered to our customers, ensuring highlighted outcomes are met and person-centred approaches are paramount.
  4. Liaise with in-house Optalis teams, other agencies, and parents/carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Support the management of the building and its maintenance, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  6. Drive service vehicles safely, transporting customers within the community.
  7. Support the management of medication and related tasks, ensuring accurate records are kept.
  8. Coach and mentor team members to ensure good practice and team working.
  9. Ensure Optalis policies and procedures are adhered to and shared with the team.
