Risk and Governance Expert

We are partnering with a global financial organization to recruit a Governance and Compliance Specialist to join their Market Operations team.
This role involves identifying and mitigating risks within the Markets Operations teams, including operational processes, regulatory requirements, internal policies, new business initiatives, manual processes, and audit participation.
The successful candidate will have experience in Operations/Risk & Control, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing risks related to operational processes and regulatory requirements
- Partnering with operations staff and management to proactively manage operating risks and remediate control issues
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Providing risk reporting and analysis to senior management
Requirements:
- Experience in Operations/Risk & Control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement
- Proficiency in metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) assessment and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
