Job Title: Risk and Governance Specialist

We are partnering with a global financial organization to recruit a Governance and Compliance Specialist to join their Markets Operations team. As a member of the Markets Operations - Risk Reporting & Governance Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage risks related to operational processes, regulatory requirements, internal policies, new business initiatives, manual processes, and audit participation.
  • Partner with operations staff and management to proactively manage operating risks and remediate control issues.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with diverse functions across multiple regions to identify and address risks.
  • Assess and report on metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to inform risk management decisions.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Operations/Risk & Control with ability to operate with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to influence others, including Senior Management.
  • Experience working with diverse functions across multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in metrics and KRI assessment and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
