Job Summary:
The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Independent Chairperson and Member of the Assembly Commission Audit and Risk Committee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the governance and risk management of the Assembly Commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Clerk/Chief Executive in their role as Accounting Officer and provide guidance on risk management and governance.
- Lead the Assembly Commission Audit and Risk Committee in its oversight of the Assembly Commission's risk management and governance framework.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure effective risk management and governance practices are in place.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management and governance, preferably in a public sector or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Remuneration:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a daily rate for the Chairperson and Member roles.
