Main Purpose:
The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the Assembly Commission Audit and Risk Committee (ACARC). The ACARC plays a crucial role in supporting the Clerk/Chief Executive, the Assembly Commission, and the Senior Management Team in their responsibilities for risk, control, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the ACARC
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies
- Ensure the ACARC operates in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Clerk/Chief Executive, the Assembly Commission, and the Senior Management Team to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Assembly Commission
Remuneration:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a daily rate of £426 for the Chairperson and £358 for the Member.
