About the Role

We are currently working with a global financial organization to partner with them on the recruitment of a Governance and Compliance Specialist to work on their market operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the Markets Operations teams, including operational processes, regulatory requirements, internal policies, new business initiatives, manual processes, and audit participation.
  • Partner with operations staff and management to proactively manage operating risks and remediate control issues.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and control issues.
  • Provide risk and compliance expertise to support business growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Experience in Operations/Risk & Control
  • Ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
  • Strong communication skills to influence others, including Senior Management.
  • Experience working with diverse functions across multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) assessment and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
