Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Business to lead and motivate a large team of approximately 300 staff across multiple Used Car Dealerships in the South of England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Automotive Industry, with a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, volume-based business.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and motivate a large team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve business targets.
  • Unleash the potential of each site by setting stretching objectives and providing regular feedback on performance.
  • Ensure compliance and customer experience standards are met across all sites.
  • Report site performance to the Sales Director and Board of Directors.
  • Pioneer new strategies and techniques to inspire the team.
  • Oversee and organize the aftersales/service function across all sites.

Requirements:



  • A proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, volume-based business within the Automotive Industry.
  • A strong used car background, ideally from a used car supermarket.
  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to deliver an exceptional performance.
  • Strong customer focus, computer literacy, and communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivation and experience of working with Aftersales/Service departments would be an added advantage.

Working Pattern:


The working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, mainly long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota-dependent. An extended in-house training period will be required initially, including travel to other parts of the business and accommodation expenses.
