About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Surveyor to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a critical role in managing our non-operational property portfolio, including residential, agricultural, commercial land and buildings, telecoms, and rating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage external agents and consultants to ensure effective property management and maintenance.
  • Supervise and undertake operational land, capital project, and property industry-specific queries and transactions.
  • Maximize income from property and increase the security of income to provide a reliable source of revenue.
  • Maintain and develop working relationships with landowners, tenants, contractors, customers, and partners.
  • Deliver varied property and technical transactions and innovative solutions to deliver maximum value and outcome.
About You

We are looking for a team player with excellent stakeholder management skills, MRICS qualified, and general practice surveying experience, including agriculture, landlord and tenant, acquisitions, and disposal. You should have a good understanding of external property markets influence and wider property projects.
