Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector to perform dimensional checks on complex components in a fast-paced and friendly work environment within the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Goods In inspection against drawing and criteria from Quality Engineer
  • Measuring and inspecting mechanical sub-assemblies to ensure build quality meets required standards
  • Monitoring supplier quality performance and first pass yields of components
  • Quarantining stock for obsolete and poor quality
  • Writing non-conformance reports for assemblies and discrepancies with materials

Requirements

  • HNC or work-based equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to understand engineering instructions, processes, and drawings
  • Good understanding of GD&T
  • 2 years experience in a Quality inspector role in a production environment
