Pioneer Selection is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Equipment Inspector.

This role involves visiting client sites in the Reading and Oxford area to ensure that crane and lifting equipment meets health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, servicing, and repairing various pieces of crane and lifting equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with LOLER & PUWER regulations.
  • Inspecting equipment condition and making decisions on future use.
  • Working at height and in confined spaces.

Requirements:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 with significant experience and willingness to pursue a Level 4 qualification.
  • Familiarity with mechanical equipment and its maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Strong relationship building skills and influence over customers.
