We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at Global Highland. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining installation infrastructure, reducing unit downtime, and improving efficiency.

About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting fault finding in PLC systems, implementing solutions to reduce unit downtime, and working closely with operators and unit supervisors to develop their knowledge of the machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain installation infrastructure and ensure compliance with legal obligations and safe working practices.
  • Conduct fault finding in PLC systems and implement solutions to reduce unit downtime.
  • Develop knowledge of machinery and improve efficiency through close collaboration with operators and unit supervisors.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Fault finding in PLC systems would be preferable, but not essential.
  • Comfortable with e-maintenance system and computer proficiency.
What We Offer

An attractive salary package of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
