We are seeking an exceptional Registered Midwife with extensive experience across various maternity settings to join our high-performing NHS Highland Maternity Team.

This role demands leadership skills, passion, and compassion. The ideal candidate will have achieved additional qualifications or transferable skills in quality control, quality planning, and quality improvement, enabling them to drive excellence in perinatal services.

The QRG Lead Midwife will possess expertise in complex risk management and governance processes, ensuring the delivery of safe care in multi-disciplinary teams. A collaborative mindset and ability to implement essential safety principles are crucial for success.

Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape operational practices and contribute to the overall success of our Maternity Services Board-wide initiative.

This challenging yet rewarding role offers a unique blend of professional growth, personal fulfillment, and a chance to live in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands.
