We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our team at NHS Highland, providing exceptional care to patients with cancer. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality radiotherapy services.


As a Radiographer at NHS Highland, you will be part of a close-knit team that works together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Varian Truebeams and a Siemens CT scanner, enabling us to provide innovative treatments such as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SABR) and Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT).


The role requires HCPC registration and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans.


We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. The Highlands offer an exceptional quality of life, with stunning natural beauty, outdoor recreational activities, and a range of cultural and educational opportunities.


About the Department:


  • Our department serves a population of approximately 260,000 people across Highland, the Western Isles, and part of Grampian Health Board areas.
  • We treat around 700 new patients annually, covering all sites and techniques.
  • Participating in the training of therapy students from QMU in Edinburgh and GCU in Glasgow is a requirement.
