About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge hospital in Guiseley, Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Consultant/Responsible Clinician for patients in our locked rehabilitation setting, providing comprehensive care and guidance to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Take a lead role in multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews, driving therapeutic progress and enhancing patient experiences.
  • Contribute to management meetings and clinical governance discussions, shaping service strategy and quality improvements.
  • Mentor junior medical staff, offering supervision and support to foster their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry, with extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of initiating change and driving innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
