About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a special needs school near Folkestone. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting primary and secondary aged children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including ASD.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in daily activities and personalised learning
  • Assist with personal care tasks like toileting and feeding
  • Work alongside teachers to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs)
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A right to work in the UK
  • Experience working with SEND children (preferably)
  • The ability to provide personal care
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills
  • An enhanced child-only DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Location: This role is based near Folkestone, but we welcome applications from candidates living elsewhere who are willing to commute.
