About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support two children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in our KS1 class. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping these children overcome their learning challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support and guidance to the two children with EAL.
  • Assist with their language development and help them to develop their social and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the EAL curriculum.
  • Ability to work with a range of teaching styles and approaches.
  • Commitment to the duration of the maternity cover role.
