Job Title: Early Years Officer

Location: Gilmerton Early Years Centre

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £32,010 - £37,626 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

This role is part of the Children, Education and Justice Services team at the City of Edinburgh Council. As an Early Years Officer, you will work with children and families to provide support and guidance in early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and families to identify and address their needs
  • Develop and implement plans to support children's learning and development
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support early years education

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in early years education
  • Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
