Job Opportunity
Falkirk Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Early Years Officer (PEYO) to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management of Bonnypark Early Learning and Childcare Centre, working closely with the Head of Centre and senior leaders to deliver high-quality early learning and childcare provision.

In this exciting opportunity, you will work collaboratively with parents, educational establishments, and other stakeholders across Falkirk Council to drive forward an ambitious vision for the centre. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of education and care programs, ensuring that every child achieves the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership and practical experience in early learning and childcare settings, with a strong knowledge of play pedagogy and child development. They will also have in-depth understanding of GIRFEC, child protection, and supporting children with additional support needs.

The successful candidate will hold a BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent qualification, and will be required to undergo a PVG scheme disclosure check. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £44,000 per annum, based on 37 hours per week.
