Job Description

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team. As the sole IT Support Specialist for our site, you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations for a team of 250 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hardware Support: Provide support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other hardware, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Network Support: Ensure the stability and security of our wired and wireless networks, including servers and virtual machines.
  • IT Service Management: Follow ITSM processes and participate in troubleshooting and resolution of larger IT issues.
  • Compliance and Audits: Participate in internal audits related to IT processes, procedures, software, and systems, and influence budgeting, forecasting, and spending for IT infrastructure.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise between IT and customers to drive IT standards and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Draw conclusions from complex data sets and present solutions to drive improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: A relevant degree or qualified by experience of 3-5 years in the field.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of wired and wireless networks, as well as servers.
  • Experience: Experience supporting complex IT environments that may contain various operating systems, desktop, network, phone, and mobile technology.
  • ITIL: IT Service Management (ITIL) certification.
  • Production Environment: An understanding of production environments, including cobots, 3D printing, and machine monitoring, and the ability to automate the flow of production and implement new technologies.
