Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network. The successful candidate will provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to our Oncology and Acute Care services, supporting the delivery and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to Oncology and Acute Care services, including the implementation of medicine management systems.
  2. Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of nursing and medical staff.
  3. Support the development and growth of the pharmacy department, contributing to the development of new services and initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

  1. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
  2. Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification.
  3. Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable.
  4. Experience in a clinical specialist area, preferably in Oncology and Acute Care.
