Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services to all Oncology services at London Bridge Hospital.
  • Provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within the hospital.
  • Implement and manage medicine management systems concerned with Oncology and Acute Care services.
  • Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of nursing and medical staff.
  • Be professionally accountable for any pharmacy function for which you assume responsibility.

Requirements

  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
  • Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification.
  • Extensive hospital experience essential.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable.
  • Experience in a clinical specialist area – e.g. Oncology and Acute Medicine is highly desirable.
