**Job Overview**

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Project Company (SPV) of a major infrastructure project and interface directly with other senior stakeholders, parent company, and supply chain across the whole life cycle of highways linear assets.

As **Asset Lead – Linear**, you will sit within the Asset Investment Team reporting to the Asset Investment Manager and oversee all asset management activities for highways linear assets (i.e., pavement, geotechnical, drainage, road restraint systems).

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Owning asset management strategies for highways linear assets covering the whole lifecycle (inspection, maintenance, and renewal)
  • Acting as a Connect Plus sponsor in gateway meetings for lifecycle renewal projects for highways linear assets
  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Commercial & Asset Delivery team to optimize scope and delivery methodologies
  • Driving innovation, efficiency, and carbon reduction throughout the gateway process

You will be responsible for developing innovation business cases based on long-term asset risks and opportunities, contributing case studies for the Proactive Management Review, and supporting the development of the Annual Asset Management Report.
