Job Description: Specialist Family Practitioner - Case Manager

Berry Street's Northern Specialist Family Violence Service provides a range of support services to families who have experienced family violence in the Northern Metro Melbourne sub-region. As a Specialist Family Practitioner - Case Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering a specialist case management response to up to 10 victim survivors and their children.

Your key responsibilities will include assessing family violence risk, working intensively with victim survivors and their children to set and achieve goals, engaging with key service providers, and participating in family violence capacity building, secondary consultation, family violence training, and attendance at networks. This role involves a mix of in-office and remote work and is based in Preston.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or equivalent qualifications/experience in the family violence sector. You will also require experience in working with diverse backgrounds who have experienced family violence and comprehensive risk assessments.
