About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Pastoral Lead / Head of Year to join our team at Teaching Personnel. We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for secondary education and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing Leadership and Guidance: Offering support and guidance to students, staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring Student Progress: Identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address any challenges.
  • Developing Curriculum Plans: Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement effective curriculum plans that meet the needs of all students.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications and certifications, including an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Pastoral Lead or equivalent role in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
