We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team at Bid Solutions. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Tender Teams: Manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes for allocated tenders, adhering to designated processes and best practices.
  • Develop Bid Strategies: Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Sector Director to create a coherent bid strategy, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and Improve: Continuously assess and refine our winning strategy, directing team resources to focus on activities that enhance the chance of bid success.
  • Commercial Strategy: Oversee and contribute to the development of tender commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with our company's business plan.
  • Programme Management: Manage tender programmes, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Approval and Communication: Facilitate the corporate approval process, keeping senior management informed of tender developments and gaining acceptance of key decision points.
  • Client Interface: Manage communication with joint venture partners and key supply chain stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective project delivery.
  • Quality Submission: Ensure the correct resources are in place for quality submissions, meeting timescales and delivering high-quality results.
  • Tender Feedback: Analyze and disseminate tender feedback, identifying areas for improvement and driving business growth.
Requirements
  • Extensive Bid Management Experience: Proven track record of success in bid management, with a deep understanding of the UK construction market.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong knowledge of different forms of contract and commercial awareness, ensuring effective tender management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and client communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
