Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical assessment, care, and treatment to individuals with moderate to severe mental disorders.

The post offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern service for General Adult Psychiatry, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. The successful candidate will be supervised by and work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, with the aim of providing high-quality care to our patients.

The role involves working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to digital technology and a range of resources to support clinical practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise, with a focus on continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing medical assessment, care, and treatment to individuals with moderate to severe mental disorders
  • Working in a team environment to provide high-quality care to patients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for s22 AMP status would be an advantage
  • Previous clinical psychiatry experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
