We are seeking a highly skilled clinician to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Scotland, specializing in General Adult Community Psychiatry. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern service, providing medical assessment, care, and treatment to individuals with moderate to severe mental disorders.

The successful candidate will be supervised by and work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, attached to the same sector. This will enable them to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive environment. Eligibility for s22. AMP status would be an advantage.

The post is based at New Craigs Hospital, Inverness, in the South and Mid Operational Unit at NHS Scotland. Some travel will be expected and reimbursed. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals, committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical assessment, care, and treatment to individuals with moderate to severe mental disorders.
  • Work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, attached to the same sector.
  • Develop skills and expertise in a supportive environment.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for s22. AMP status would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
