NHS Lancashire Teaching Hospitals are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Systems Manager to join their clinical applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management, support, and maintenance of System Management across Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District Hospital.

Main Duties
  • Manage day-to-day operations, system issues, and data quality/information governance issues.
  • Maintain and develop working relationships with stakeholders, project staff, software suppliers, IT professionals, lead clinicians, and other relevant Trust personnel.
Job Responsibilities
  • Attend and chair meetings on behalf of the Enterprise Wide Applications management team and senior management team to facilitate and manage work packages.
  • To be responsible for and manage, maintain, and develop the key IT systems and update Digital IT Senior Management team & relevant programme boards and stakeholders.
  • Initiate, promote, and participate in detailed meetings and workshops for requirements with IT Professionals and Software suppliers based on end-user needs.
  • Assist and manage in the continued assessment of IM&T developments to ensure requirements are met and that they are fulfilled within the planned timescales and that any deviations or timescale slippages are reported to line management.

The ideal candidate will have experience of training or coaching, experience of liaising with senior management and other stakeholders, proficient in Microsoft applications, knowledge of developing and testing systems and quality assurance, leading meetings with senior staff, including executive and board level, experienced in creating training materials, writing clinically approved documentation, and knowledge of NHS data standards.

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata.
