We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Specialists to join our specialist team in Nelson. Our teams are our greatest asset, and we are committed to employing and training the best people. We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to provide support to people in their own homes.

What does a Support Specialist do?

You will help our clients achieve their goals and reach their potential through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities may include:

  • Meal preparation and planning
  • Community outings and integration
  • Administering medication
  • Personal care (showering, toileting etc.)
  • Bowel management, manual handling and hoist transfers
  • Home management and maintenance

What are we looking for?

  • A positive attitude and a desire to help others
  • Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends
  • Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
  • A full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
