Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the South West region of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting servicing and general works on special purpose machinery, including PPM and servicing, fault finding for breakdowns, and diagnosing faults on electrical control panels and hydraulic circuits.
  • Effecting repairs as required, including basic fabrication and mechanical repairs, and conducting technical evaluations to ensure continuous running.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to clients, including evaluating the operational status of processes and services and developing plans to ensure continuous running.
  • Ensuring that planned maintenance standards are maintained and that all work is carried out in accordance with company safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven fabrication, electrical, and welding experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of building or wiring electrical control panels.
  • Hands-on approach with a background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering.
  • Welding experience is advantageous.
