About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Manager to join our team at Cottons Hotel & Spa. As the public face of our hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a dynamic team of Welcome Hosts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Welcoming Guests

You will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming smile and ensuring that every guest feels valued and respected.

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service

You will be responsible for providing the highest level of hospitality to our guests, whether they are staying with us or simply visiting our hotel.

  • Leading the Welcome Host Team

You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of Welcome Hosts, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Creating and Managing Rotas

You will be responsible for creating and managing rotas to ensure that staffing levels meet business demands and agreed budgets.

  • Upselling and Promoting Hotel Services

You will be responsible for informing guests of the hotel's facilities and services, and promoting these to ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

  • Providing Local Information and Advice

You will be responsible for providing guests with information and advice on local amenities and services, ensuring that they have a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Requirements
  • Experience in a Hotel or Hospitality Environment

You will have experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

  • Leadership and Management Skills

You will have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.

  • Excellent Communication Skills

You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
