We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Support Professional to join our team in Canterbury. This full-time position is available for an immediate start, with potential for it to become permanent.

About the Role:

  • Support primary and secondary-aged students with severe Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex behavioural challenges
  • Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to meet individual student needs
  • Assist class teachers in preparing and delivering specialised lessons and activities
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, supporting with classroom tasks and resources
  • Supervise students during school trips, outdoor learning, and enrichment activities
  • Offer clear guidance, repetition, and rephrasing to ensure students are fully engaged in their learning
