Job Title: Special Education Needs Tutor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices, as well as experience working with students with similar needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Individualised Education Plans: Create and implement tailored education plans based on students' specific needs and goals.
  • Deliver Engaging Lessons and Activities: Design and deliver engaging lessons and activities to promote academic progress and social development.
  • Collaborate with School Staff and Parents: Work closely with school staff and parents to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Assess Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience Working with Students with SEN: Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • SEN Legislation and Best Practices: Understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Additional Training or Certification: Additional training or certification in SEN support.
  • Secondary School Experience: Experience working in a secondary school setting.
