Secondary Education Support Professional

Job Description:
Academics Ltd is seeking a Secondary Education Support Professional to work in a variety of secondary schools in the Canterbury area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide students with materials previously prepared by class teachers and manage the behaviour of the class following the schools' behaviour policies. You will also foster positive relationships with students and work collaboratively with the cover manager and the rest of the school team to ensure the smooth running of the school day in the absence of class teachers.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Some experience working with young people or in an educational setting
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work and build positive rapport with young people
* Good knowledge of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
* Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of your own workload
