**Learning Disability Support Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker - Learning Disability to join our team at Havering Council.

The successful candidate will work closely with adults with learning disabilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring their needs are met and promoting their overall wellbeing.
  • To work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • To prepare and present statements for court and reports for case conferences, panels, and reviews.
  • To provide information, advice, and signposting to universal and preventative services that promote the health and wellbeing of service users.

About You:

  • You should hold QSW status, including qualification and Social Work England registration.
  • You should have completed ASYE (Assisted Supported Year in Employment).
  • You should have experience in Preparing for Adulthood and Transition within Learning Disability Service Clients Group.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • An Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS as part of our safeguarding process.
