About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Knowsley Community Paediatric Service. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families, while developing your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services, assessing children's communication needs and developing effective treatment plans. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting children to reach their full potential and achieve their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's communication needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Experience working with children with complex communication needs.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and record-keeping skills.
