Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Paediatric Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children aged 0-18 with communication difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in paediatric settings and possess strong assessment and intervention skills. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans and support the development of children's communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, providing clear recommendations for interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Proven experience working with children with complex communication needs.
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and record-keeping skills.
