**Job Overview**

NHS is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Therapist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our paediatric therapy team, you will work with children and young people aged 0-19 who have difficulties with their fine motor skills, activities of daily living or sensory needs.

The role involves providing high-quality, specialist services in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, schools, clinics, and other community locations. You will take responsibility for managing children and young people with particular conditions and develop treatment plans tailored to their needs.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with developmental and sensory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate qualifications or experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
