Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Children's Speech and Language Therapy. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children aged 0-18 who require support with their communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing children's communication needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve the best possible outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication needs, including speech, language, and literacy skills.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address specific communication goals.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Proven experience working with children with complex communication needs.
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and record-keeping skills.
